SAWPA is located at the western edge of the city of Riverside. It's convenient location, near the intersection of Interstate 15 and the 91, provides visitors across the watershed easy access.
- Directions From The 91 Fwy
East On The 91 Fwy
From the western portions of the watershed (Orange County, Los Angeles County, the Hemet/Lake Elsinore area, or the Chino/Ontario/Fontana area), take the 91 eastbound Freeway to the Pierce Street Exit. Turn right (south) onto Pierce Street. Go through the first light (Magnolia St.) and make the first left-hand turn (before the railroad crossing) onto Sterling Avenue. Follow the road to the end of the cul-de-sac and you will see the SAWPA building.
West On The 91 Fwy
From the eastern portions of the watershed (Riverside, San Bernardino, Yucaipa, Moreno Valley, Perris), take the 91 westbound through the city of Riverside, exit Magnolia Street. Follow the curve of the exit (turn right) onto Magnolia Street. At the first light, turn left (south) onto Pierce Street. Make the first left-hand turn (before the railroad crossing) onto Sterling Avenue. Follow the road to the end of the cul-de-sac and you will see the SAWPA building.
